The purpose of Pearl Harbor Elementary School PTSO is four-fold:
  • To promote to the welfare of children and youth in home, school and community.
  • To support the mission and vision of Pearl Harbor Elementary School.
  • To encourage a partnership between parents, teachers, students and the community.
  • To assist in the efforts to foster and secure a positive learning environment for Pearl Harbor Elementary School.

Last year our PHES students raised over $11,000 in pledges for the 2009 Walk-a-Thon. It was a very successful fundraising event held by the PTSO, and by overwhelming demand, we have brought it back for the 2010-2011 school year.

McTeacher Night Wrap-Up

WOW!
What a great evening. I want to send out a HUGE Thank you to all of our teachers, staff and parent volunteers that came out to support our school last night. Our success was proven all over the faces of our students.
 
We broke previous years sales last night and I couldn't be more proud of all our dedication.  

McTeacher Night September 1st (4-7pm)

Come and support our school on September 1, 2010 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. for our first McTeacher Night. Bring your children to the McDonald's Moanalua location (map) so they can see their teachers hard at work! A percentage of the proceeds come back to the school to help us with field trips, supplies, etc.

Pizza Night Success!!

What a great turnout last night for Pearl Harbor Elementary School's Open House and 6th Grade Pizza Night Fundraiser! Your PTSO President, Cat, ran around with her hair on fire for two hours, but we sold almost every piece of ~40 Papa John's pizzas and an equal amount of soda and water.
